Grain & oilseed country

Canola, spring wheat, barley, oats and pulses such as lentils and peas. Saskatchewan has more farmland than any other province, and harvest rolls to the local elevator or inland terminal.

Our climate

Long winters. Short, busy summers.

Most Canadian farms get one growing season, squeezed between spring thaw and fall frost. Seeding, spraying and harvest come fast, and winter means feeding cattle, hauling grain out of the bin and getting the machinery ready for spring.

Metric on paper, acres in the yard. Canada is officially metric, but on the farm you still hear acres and bushels. Our free converter handles hectares, acres, bushels and tonnes.

Our Canadian home

Leading the way in sustainable agriculture.

REALM Group Canada is the Canadian home of REALM Group Global. We want to partner with Canadian producers who lead the way in sustainable agriculture: grain and oilseed growers on the Prairies, ranchers in the foothills, dairy and orchard families in Ontario, Quebec and British Columbia, and farming communities on both coasts.

REALM began in Warragul, Victoria (Australia) in 1992. Our Canadian team is coming soon; until then, REALM’s head office looks after Canadian members. The free farm tools on this site are open to everyone.
